Determining where your organization is going over the next year or so and how it's going to get there is part of the Strategic Planning process. One of the main real benefits is the planning process and not the plan document. The most common type of Strategic Planning is goals based - starts with the focus on the organization's mission (and vision/values), goals to work towards the mission, strategies to achieve the goals and action planning. Key areas that make up the planning process include an Environmental Scan, Identifying Directions, Action Planning, Writing and Communicating the plan, and Monitoring the plan. Organizational Review and Strategic Planning is an important task that is team oriented. Our experienced planners can provide facilitation throughout the entire process.
